Obituary

Donald “Barrett” Caulder, 70, of Inman passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023. Born in Tryon, NC, he was the son of the late Alfred Alonzo Caulder, Jr. and Sarah Elizabeth Lane Caulder and was the husband of Deborah Lynn McIntyre Caulder. He was a salesman for C.L. Cannon & Sons and Robbins Brick and Block. Mr. Caulder enjoyed fishing, playing golf, antique cars, and woodworking.

 

Left to cherish his memory in addition to his wife are; one son, Justin (Lyndsi) Caulder; son-in-law Shannon (Robin) Crooke; four grandchildren, Caroline and Charleston Caulder, Nelson and Logan Crooke; one sister, Arnett (Mike) Hannon; two brothers, Garrett (Sheila) Caulder, and Larrett (Lisa) Caulder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Caulder Crooke; and one sister, Paulette McGraw.

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 27, 2023, from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at Petty Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday,  February 28, 2023 at 3:00pm at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
