Barbara Breedlove

Barbara Lockhart Breedlove, 87, beloved daughter, mother, grandmother and friend peacefully joined her family and many friends who went before her and were no doubt waiting to greet her on Saturday, May 29, 2021.   

Barbara was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Lockhart, a son, Michael Penfield and granddaughter in love, Michele. She is survived by her children - Kay Daley, Jerry Corn (Charlotte), JoAnn Reid (Chet), Phil Corn (Marian), Vickie Bailey, beloved daughter in love and friend, 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two great great grandsons.

Barbara loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them & with her friends from Highwood Apartments where she lived for 23 years.

Memorials may be made to SECU Hospice House, Inpatient Unit, 372 Hudlow Rd, Forest City, NC 28043.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 am Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Petty Funeral Home.   A memorial service will follow at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Jimmy Camp and Jason Fowler.
