Amy Annie Mae Pace Staton Blackwell, 95, of Columbus passed away on December 21, 2025. She is the daughter of the late Bob Lee and Cora Metcalf Pace and wife of the late Marshall Lee Blackwell who passed away in March of 2020.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceeded in death by Ralph Blain Staton, Sr.; son Ralph Blain Staton, Jr.; She was the last surviving of 13 children, predeceased by her loving brothers and sisters; Ora, Nethlee, Ellie, Glenn, Leonard, RC, BL, Macie, Mildred, Arley, Betty and Garvin.
She was a loving mother and grandmother and greatly loved by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She enjoyed reading her Bible and kept her mind active working crossword puzzles. She will be missed by all. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church for over 50 years.
She is survived by three daughters Kay Staton Moore (Darrel), Connie Dennis (Daryl) and Sharon Womack (Andy); five grandchildren Trey Staton (Rachel), Shawna Dennis Larson (Matt), Lee Womack (Shannon), Shay Dennis and Jesse Womack; and seven great grandchildren Lilah Womack, Reagan Dennis, Marshall Womack, Bailey Dennis, Nola Staton, Paysen Larson and Paisley Larson.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, December 26, 2025 at Polk Memorial Gardens.
