Ambrose "Butch" Mills Lisle, Jr.

Ambrose "Butch" Mills Lisle, Jr., 75, of Boiling Springs, passed away on April 11, 2022.  He was the son of Mildred Louise Hembree Lisle and the late Ambrose Mills Lisle, Sr. and the husband of the late Alice Steadman McEntire.

He was an electrician for Ivy Electric and a member of the the Landrum Masonic Lodge #278 for over 42 years as well as a member of the Spartanburg Shrine Club.  Butch was a loving, generous, and proud grandfather and great-grandfather. He was always there to support and encourage his grandchildren and attended every sporting event, dance recital, and school program he could over the years. He never missed the chance to celebrate a birthday or tell his grandchildren how proud he was and how much he loved each one of them. 

He is survived by a son, Dennis McEntire (Karen); a daughter, Gail Solesbee (Randy); grandchildren, Tara Pinilla, Allison Rodgers and Eric McEntire; six great grandchildren; sisters, Gail Flynn (Ray) and Janice Turner; a nephew, Jimmy Flynn; a niece, Joy McNeill; great nephews, Adam McNeill and Ethan Flynn.

He was predeceased by his dog, Toby.

A graveside service will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Park on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 2:00PM conducted by Rev. Jimmy "Hambone" Camp.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
