Wallace Collins Obituary

Wallace Nathaniel Collins, 82, of Campobello, SC passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at his home.  He was the son of the late Ulyess Sidney and Agatha Reed Chitwood Collins and husband of Frances Bradley Collins.

He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and retired from Landrum Mills.

In addition to his wife Frances, he is survived by two daughters, Sharon C. Kimbrell (Chip), Lisa C. Heatherly (Tony); a brother, Gerald Collins (Mary Ann); two sisters, Louise Edwards, Sadie Jackson;  two sister-in-laws, Fannie Collins, Margaret Collins; grandchildren, Haylee Michelle Heatherly and Colton Nathaniel Heatherly. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Clifford Collins, Preston Collins; two sisters Edna Bruno and Evelyn Freeman.

The family will receive friends 11:00am-12:00pm Thursday, June 21, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow in the chapel at 12:00pm conducted by Rev. David Grigg and Rev. Chuck Mullinax.  A committal service will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Lynn Stewart officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC  28043 or Fairview Baptist Church, 527 Highway 14 West, Landrum, SC  29356.
