Toy Ferman Davis

Toy Ferman Davis, 85, of Woodruff passed away October 30, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.

He was the son of the late Tom Jefferson and Annie Champion Davis and husband of Betty Jean Waters Davis.

He was former Pastor of Trinity Baptist Tabernacle Church, served in the US Navy and worked at GE for eighteen years.

In addition to his wife, Betty, he is survived by a daughter in law, Rhonda Davis, a brother, Allen Davis, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by two sons, Stanley Davis, Jerry Davis; six brothers, Clarence Franklin, Walter Edgar, Ernest Luther, Arthur Richard, Troy Herman, Loyd Lester; three sisters, Ethel Ellen, Lillian Sophie, Edith Marie; two half-sisters, Mildred, Doris; good friend and neighbors, Dallas and Rosanne Baxter.

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00pm Thursday, November 2, 2017.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Preacher John Parker and Dr. Tommy Turner. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
