Thelma Hughes Wagner, 72, of Landrum passed away on April 5, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Herbert and Ollie Mae Blackwell Hughes and widow of Paul Douglas Wagner.
She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Wendy Henderson (Thomas); an exchange daughter Maria Lopez Barranco of Madrid, Spain; a God daughter Kimberly Howard Nix; a sister Juanita Coates; two grandchildren Skylar Henderson and Alex Henderson; a great granddaughter Kamdyn Tipton; a sister in law Linda Hughes; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Beatrice Messerole and a brother Sammy Hughes.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm Sunday April 14, 2019 at Oak Grove Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ken Kirkley, Rev. Ryan Howard and Rev. Lynn Stewart.
The family is at the home of Skylar Henderson.
