Stella Searcy Obituary
Stella Green Searcy, 95 of Tryon passed away January 22, 2019 at Willow Ridge Rehab and Living Center. She was the daughter of the late William T. and Alice Arledge Green and wife of the late Grady Searcy.
She worked for the Polk County School Systems as a remedial reading tutor and a member of Beulah Baptist Church.
She is survived by five sons, Casey Green Searcy, Phillip G. Searcy, Paul Grady Searcy, Mark A. Searcy, Milton T. Searcy, a brother, John Harold Green; a sister, Carolyn Blackwell two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held 1:00pm Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Polk Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Todd Fletcher.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
