Rowena (Greene) Horne Matson

Rowena Greene Horne Matson, 96, of Tryon passed away on August 20, 2017.  She was the daughter of the late Archie and Bessie Foster Greene and wife of Randy Matson. 

She was a member of Mill Creek Church of the Brethren and was retired from Landrum Mills.

She is survived by a son, Jeff Horne; three grandchildren, Darrell Horne, Mark Horne and Kevin Dale; six grandchildren, Schyler, Davis, Carson, Alannah, Christian and Errionna.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Perdie Horne and a son, Michael Horne.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 pm Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Mill Creek Church of the Brethren.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00 at the church conducted by Rev. Steven Abe.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
