Robert H Reeves

Robert H. Reeves, 91, of Columbus, NC passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.  He was the son of the late Everett and Cassie N. Cross Reeves and husband of Shirley Ann Harper Reeves for 65 years.

He was a Vice President of The Standard Register Corporation, was in the US Navy 1944-1946 as a Naval Seaman in WWII, a long time member of Kiwanis in Ohio and North Carolina and a member of the Tryon Congregational Church.

In addition to his wife, Shirley, he is survived by two sons, Dr. Roger Harper Reeves (Ruth Lammert-Reeves), Philip Andrew Reeves (Dr. Elizabeth Wolfe) and a daughter, Elizabeth Reeves Rognier (Christopher).

Memorial service will be 1:00pm Friday, November 10, 2017 at the The Congregational Church UCC conducted by Pastor Meghan Young.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Manna Food Bank, 627 Swannanoa River Road, Asheville, NC  28805.
