Robert Michael Pace

Robert Michael Pace, 60, of Tryon died at his home February 14, 2019.  He was the son of the late Cecil Robert and Elma Shehan Pace.

He was a Production Line Manager with General Electric, a member of The Congregational Church in Tryon, Kiwanis Club of Tryon, Tryon Jaycees.  He was an Eagle Scout and a volunteer for  Hospice of the Carolina Foothills Thrift Barn, Thermal Belt Out Reach and The Meeting Place Senior Center. He also loved to garden, but most of all he loved to spend time with his boys.

He is survived by two sons, Benjamin Michael Pace (Erin) and Matthew Robert Pace; and two brothers, Dean Pace and Stephen Pace.

The family will receive friends 11:30am-1:00pm on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral service will follow at 1:00pm conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart.  Burial will be in Polk Memorial Gardens.
