Rebel Brackett Obituary

 

Rebel Josephine Brackett, 97, of Campobello passed away on August 6, 2018.  She was the daughter of the  late James Samuel Stone and Rebecca Watson Stone Mathis.  She was the widow of Leonard Brackett.

She was a member of Gramling United Methodist Church and was a homemaker. 

She is survived by her children Joann Foster, Frances Shults, Ronnie Brackett and Linda Allison; a sister, Lois Hall; two half brothers, Lige Mathis, Jr and Lloyd Mathis; six grandchildren Donna, Mark, Wayne, Chris, Craig and Jeffrey; 11 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Todd Johnson and 9 brothers and sisters.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Gramling United Methodist Church.  Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the church conducted by Rev. Rick Brown.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff and her friends at Lake Emory Post Acute Care for their care of Mrs. Brackett.

The family is at the home of Ronnie Brackett, 6271 Highway 357, Campobello, SC  29322.
