Nora Jean (Gosnell) Lawson

 Nora Jean Gosnell Lawson, 75, of Campobello passed away October 27, 2018.  She is the daughter of the late Archie  and Lola Bell Prince Gosnell  and wife of the late J. B. Lawson.

She attended  Bible Baptist  Church and worked  as a caregiver at the Charles Lea Center. 
She enjoyed playing Bingo and loved playing Rook with her sisters.

 She  is survived by two sons, Tracy Lawson of Campobello, Jerry Lawson (Tiffany) of Columbus, NC; a daughter, Kim Lawson of Campobello; a daughter-in-law, Regina Waldrop; eight grandchildren, Kandra Cunningham (Chavis), Tucker Lawson, Deshaun  Lawson (Jayden), Hannah Lawson (Zach)  Trey Lawson, Michaela Howell, Anthony Lindsey, Austin Lindsey; six great grandchildren; Jayveon Lawson, Amyiah Ferguson, Aleeyah Ferguson, Cyiah Cunningham, Kylie Caldwell, Karston Arledge; a brother, Earl Gosnell; four sisters, Martha Anderson, Lillian Blackwell, Evelyn Downey, and Elma Hope.   She was  predeceased by two sons, Barron and Tim Lawson and a sister, Jessie Wilkerson.

The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00pm, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Friday, November 2, 2018 in the Petty Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Dr. Tommy Turner.
