Michael Penfield

Michael Penfield, 68, of Landrum passed away on December 22, 2018.  He was the son of Barbara Lockhart Breedlove and the late Grady O'Dell Penfield.

He served in the US Marines and was a truck driver.  Michael enjoyed spending time with his family and  he was an avid golfer and fisherman.  He played football at Landrum High School where his teammates referred to him as "Crazy Legs".

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Breedlove; two daughters, Michele Taylor and Cassy Webber; a son, Gabriel Penfield; 14 brothers and sisters; seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.   A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart and Rev. Jimmy Camp.

The family is at the home of  his favorite sister JoAnn and Chet Reid, 201 Lake Road, Landrum.
