Mary Beth (Carter) Ulmer

Mary Beth Carter Ulmer, 100, of Landrum passed away on December 6, 2019.  She was the daughter of the late Floyd Smith Carter and Lennie Swanell Carter and wife of the late Donald Reid Ulmer.

She was a member of Landrum Presbyterian Church and retired from E.H. Devine in 1979 after 20 years of service.  She was a volunteer for Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.  

She is predeceased by a son Kenneth Ulmer (Diane).  She is survived by a son, John C. Ulmer (Katherine) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  

A memorial service will be held at Petty Funeral Home on Saturday, January 18, 2019 at 11:00 AM conducted by Rev. Beth Hoskins and Rev. Tom Malone.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Landrum Presbyterian Church, 404 E Rutherford St, Landrum, SC 29356 and Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 374  Hudlow Road, Forest City, NC  28043.
