Margaret Lancaster

Margaret Prince Lancaster passed away Sunday, September 10, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the daughter of the late Thomas Lafayette Prince and Clara Mintz Prince.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Landrum and was Sunday School Secretary in the Children's Department for many years.

She is survived by her husband of 77 years Bill Lancaster of the home, her daughter, Janet L. Wilson (Roy), four grandchildren, Kim Wilson, Steven L. Wilson (Amy), Meredith A. Wilson (fiancé, Jim) all of Landrum and Jennifer W. Williams (Chris) of Harrisburg, NC; nine great grandchildren, Lindsay, Jordan and Clara Wilson, Yancy, Andrew and John Avery Killian, Skyler, Cade and Jase Williams; and a cousin Sarah Heavener  In addition to her parents she was preceded by a great grandson, Noah Daniel Wilson.

Services will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Landrum conducted by Rev. Mark Bishop.  The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 1:00pm with services to follow at 2:00pm.  Burial will be at Evergreen Memorial Garden.  The family is at the home.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Landrum, 300 E. Rutherford Street, Landrum, SC  29356.
