M. Wayne Miller Obituary

M. Wayne Miller, 69, of Campobello, passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018.  He was the son of the late Elmer Mahlon and Therma Gerry Gwinn Miller and husband of Elizabeth Medley Miller.

He was a Veteran of the US Navy.  Most recently he was a Mechanical Engineer for NASA and worked on the Orion Project.  In addition to his extensive work in printing, manufacturing and tooling design, he worked on many military & government projects through the years.  He was a selfless and gentle man who considered his greatest accomplishments the relationships he built with family, close friends and co-workers.  His greatest joys were doting on his wife, Lib and granddaughter, Caroline.

In addition to his wife, Lib, he was survived by a son, Chris Miller (Marie); two sons by marriage, Kevin Burrell (Beth), Jonathan Hunkin (Lisa); two brothers, Steve Miller, Jeff Miller; four granddaughters and a great grandson.  He was also predeceased by a brother, Gary Miller.

A Celebration of Life will be held  2:00pm Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Dependent Baptist Church, 791 Windmill Hill Road, Inman, SC   29349 conducted by Rev. Joe Geddes.  The family will receive friends following the service.  Friends are encouraged to share memories of him at the service.
