L.C. Henson

L.C. Henson, 83, of Inman passed away on January 15, 2018.  He was the son of the late Clyde and Elma Eppley Henson and husband of the late Betty Lou Smith Henson.

He started working as a carpenter at age 12 with his uncle.  He retired in his early 70's and continued to share his woodworking skills by making crosses that he shared with everyone he met.

He is survived by two daughters, Karen McCutcheon and Denise Farrell (Chris); three grandchildren Mysti McCutcheon (Scott Rankin), Jessica Caldwell (Donald) and Savannah Farrell; five great grandchildren, Clayton, Jasper, Makenzy, Salem and Arrow; a great-grandchild on the way Baby Caldwell; a sister, Sylvia Farmer; and his fur buddy Hammer.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Friday, January 19, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Odell Mosley and Rev. Henry Coley.  Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
