June Sylvia (Lane) Wall

June Sylvia Lane Wall, 86, of Columbus passed away February 20, 2017 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Jack and Ivy Perry Lane and wife of the late Thomas Green Harper and after his death to the late Keith Wall.

She was a member of the Church of England, in London, England and Halifax, Nova Scotia, a competitive cyclist and an avid handball enthusiast.  June also volunteered at Victoria General Hospital in Halifax, and initiated a knitting group making afghans for veterans and patients in the cancer unit. A loving, dedicated wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be dearly missed by family and friends.

She was survived by a son, John Edward Harper, two daughters, Bonnie Lynn Harper, Pauline Dennise Russell; three sisters, Valerie Dort, Pauline Moulstone, Thelma Linehum; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.  She was predeceased   by a sister, Audrey Lane.

Services will be held at a late date.
