John Thomas Geoghegan

John Thomas Geoghegan, 91, passed away March 25, 2019 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills in Landrum, South Carolina.  He was the son of the late John Joseph and Frances Clarke Geoghegan and the husband of the late Rosilda Lavallo Geoghegan.

John retired from International Paper where he was a Chemist, loved Formula One Racing, bird watching and was an avid reader.

He is survived by two sons, John A. Geoghegan and wife Star, and Ronald F. Geoghegan and wife Elizabeth; and three grandchildren, Erin, Kira and Nayeli Geoghegan.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, March 29, 2019 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, March 30, 2019 at the Petty Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Bishop Barry Keller.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
