James "J.A." Settle

James "J.A." Settle, 82, of Boiling Springs passed away July 23, 2017 at his home.  He is the son of the late Guy Carlton Sr. and Isabelle Compton Settle. and husband of the late Alma Jean Morgan Settle.

He was a Baptist and a truck driver for Spartan Petroleum and retired from Spartanburg County Council of the Aging.

He is survived by three sons, Tim Settle, Ronald Settle, Donald Settle; a daughter Rita Settle and a sister, Ella Ruth Camp.  He was predeceased by a brother, Guy Settle, Jr. two sisters, Beth Lawter and Linda Clayton.

A graveside service will be held 11:00am Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Gary Hensley.
