Harold Louie Turner, 87, of Landrum passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at his home. He was the son of the late Zeb Lee and Malinda Pittman Turner and husband of the late Mary Brown Turner.
He was in the US Navy during the Korean War and US Air Force Reserve. He worked at General Electric as a maintenance supervisor. Harold was an active member of his church and faithfully served as deacon and many other positions. He was also a member of Tyger Lodge 190.
He is survived by two sons, Stephen Turner, Mark Turner; a daughter, Gloria O'Neal (Shane); a brother, Tex Turner; a sister, Ann Sammons; three grandchildren, Jon Turner, Shelby Tyner (Timmy), Aaron O'Neal (April); three great grandchildren, Zane Tyner, Milo Tyner and Eleanor O'Neal. He was predeceased by four brothers and a sister.
The family will receive friends 10:00am-12:00pm, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Ebenezer Welcome Baptist Church. Services will follow at 12:00pm at the church. Burial is in the church cemetery.
