Grady A. Stewart, Jr.

Grady A. Stewart, Jr., 80, of Landrum passed away on October 2, 2018.   He was the son of the late Grady A . Stewart, Zona Gladys Allen Stewart and husband of Joyce Tucker Stewart.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gowensville and retired from Bommer Industries.  He was a 1955 graduate of Landrum High School.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Tucker Stewart; two sons, Mitch Stewart (Angie) and John Stewart; a sister, Ann Carswell; two grandsons, Logan and Trevor Stewart; several nieces and nephews and many friends who were like family.

He was predeceased by his half sister, Virginia Lawter.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, October 4, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00pm Friday, October 5, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart and Dr. Tommy Turner.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
