Esther (Weaver) Waldrop

Esther Weaver Waldrop, 93, of Spartanburg passed away Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at her home.  She was the daughter of John Dexter and Charlotte Flynn Weaver and wife of the late  "C.D." Waldrop.

Esther was a sales person with Aug. W. Smith Co. and Sarah Coventry Jewelry and a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church.  Esther and C. D. were Square dancers with Tec Sets of Spartanburg for many years and Esther loved painting and all children.

She is survived by daughters Mary Louise Waldrop of Spartanburg and Nancy Waldrop Butner   (husband Michael) of Los Alamos, NM; grandchildren Dr. Joseph Butner (wife Elya) and Mrs. Michelle Kozimor (husband Zak) and a great grandson, Declan.  In addition to her parents and husband she is predeceased by brothers, Glenn and Joe Weaver; sisters, Mavis Fulbright and Vivian White.

The family will receive friends 1:00-3:00pm  Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 1:00pm Monday, December 4, 2017 at Covenant Presbyterian Church conducted by Rev. Andy Casto-Waters.  Burial will be at Green Creek First Baptist Church Cemetery.
