Donnie Poore, Sr.

Donnie George Poore, Sr., 74, of Spartanburg passed away on June 16, 2017.  He was the son of the late Joseph and Delcie Poore and husband of Patsy Evans Poore.

He was retired and was a member of Green Point Baptist Church.

He is survived by two sons, Donnie Poore, Jr., Michael Poore (Traci); three daughters Donna Chumley (Mike), Pamela Poore (Danny Edwards) and Amanda Poore (Allen Wood); two brothers, Jerry Wayne Poore and Condie Poore; three sisters, Lola Massengill, Marie Hopper and Barbara Sweet; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by a son, Darrell Poore; his twin brother, Donald Poore; and two sisters, Margaret Keck and Lillian Bunch.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Monday, June 19, 2017 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Green Point Baptist Church conducted by Dr. David Lancaster.

The family is at the home of Michael Poore, 124 Beaver Creek Drive, Chesnee.
