Clifford Green

Clifford William Green, 88, of Tryon, NC passed away May 3, 2017.  He was born February 9, 1929 to William Thomas and Alice Arledge Green.  He was the husband of Lillie Mae Pack Green.

He was retired from the NC Department of Corrections.  He was of the Baptist Faith and served in the US Army.

He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Green; two daughters, Dinell Green and Teresa Green Collins; a son, Tony Clifton Green; a brother, Harold Green; two sisters, Carolyn Blackwell and Stella Searcy; five grandchildren, Colby Ryan Ashley, Justin Steven Ford, Cortney Maranda Ashley; William Thomas Green and Derrick Allen Lynch; one great grandchild, Lillie Addison Ford.  He was predeceased by a daughter, Rickie Mae Green.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
