Billy Ray Hammett Obituary
Billy Ray Hammett, 88, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at his home. He is the son of the late Robert L. and Ruby Bryant Hammett and husband of the late Mary Louise Wall Hammett.
He was a retired supervisor and meat cutter at Community Cash.
He is survived by a son, Randy Hammett and wife, Angie of Campobello; a daughter, Judy Maus of Campobello; four grandchildren Brittany Acquisto, Michael Maus, Lee Hammett and Brooks Hammett; and four great grandchildren Mary Caroline Maus, Laurel Acquisto, Jackson Maus and Linley Acquisto and a special friend, Shelby Lance.
He was predeceased by a brother Robert A. Hammett and son in law Fred S. Maus.
The family will receive friends from 10-11am Saturday August 24, 2019 at Motlow Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the church conducted by Pastor Terry Rainey and Chaplain Scott Linnerud. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

The family is at the home of Randy and Angie Hammett.
