Betty Jean Davis

Betty Jean Waters Davis, age 81, formerly of Woodruff, SC passed away on January 11, 2018 at St. Luke's Hospital in Tryon, NC.

She was the daughter of the late Raymond and Louvina Waters and widow of the late Rev. Toy Ferman Davis.

She was retired from Belk at Westgate Mall in Spartanburg, SC.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sons, Jerry and Stanley  and a brother Bobby Raymond Waters.  She is survived by a sister, Shirley McDowell; two granddaughters, Melissa Miller and Kaci Weiss; two great grandchildren, Lexie and Landon; and also two wonderful friends Dallas and Rosanne Baxter.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel conducted by Dr. Tommy Turner.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
