Barbara Jean White

Barbara Jean White , 79, of Landrum passed away Tuesday, December 19, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Herbert White and the late Barbara Jean Hall.

Barbara was of the Methodist Faith and a devout Christian. She went to Mauldin High School and was a seamstress for most of her life, but at the age of 55 she returned to school at Greenville Technical College and earned her CNA License. This new career truly set Barbara free to do what she loved which was helping other people.

Barbara is survived by three sons; Victor R. Henderson, Tracy A. Henderson (Linda), and Kelly B. Henderson; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Betty Brown.

She was preceaded in death by a daughter, Wanda Rae Henderson.

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday, December 26 at 2:00 in the Petty Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Bowers officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 128 Stonemark Lane, Columbia, SC 29210.
