Margaret "Annie" Raines, 87, of Tryon, NC went home to be with the Lord on July 29, 2017, surrounded by family.  She was the daughter of the late Fred and Kathleen Burrell Davis and widow of William Wesley Raines.

She was a member of Green River Baptist Church and was a seamstress at Tanner's.  She was known by all who loved her as "Granny Annie".  She enjoyed cooking for her family on Sundays and shared many happy memories with her husband traveling to the mountains.  Being with her family is where she was happiest.

She is survived by three daughters; Margaret Nodine (Jerry), Joyce Jarrell (Larry) and Nancy Barker (Ricky), six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.  She is also survived by three brothers and three sisters.  She was predeceased by one sister.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, August 1, 2017 at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Jacob Williams.  Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
