Sandra Lee Lawter, 72, of Campobello passed away July 1, 2012 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills Hospice House. She was the daughter of the late Tommy L. Jones and Ella Frances Manley Arnett and wife of the late James Huell Lawter.
She was a member of Campobello First Baptist Church and was retired from CVS and had worked at K.T. Pebbles. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She will be remembered for her loving personality and infectious smile. She loved life, her family and her friends.
She is survived by three daughters, Christie Ford (Steve), Cathy Lawter (Kim Walker) and Cindy Mabry (Terry); two sisters, Gladys Chabala and Linda Bagwell; a brother, Bucky Arnett; four grandchildren, Brandie Dallara (Adrian), Nicole Whitesides, Stephen Ford (Rachel) and Isaiah Kirby; three great grandchildren, Tyler Ford, Brionna Dallara and Dalton Ford; and many loving nieces and nephews and special friends.
She was predeceased by a sister, Alma Nell Jones.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at Campobello First Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the church sanctuary conducted by Rev. Michael Bragg. Private burial will be held at Good Shepherd Memorial Gardens.

Cindy, I am sorry to hear of your sweet Mother's passing, however, she is in a far better place. Most importantly, she is now at peace and her body is whole again. When my Daddy died, he had lost both his legs. I found great comfort in the fact that he was WALKING on streets of gold. It is hard to give them up but there is peace in knowing that they are better off. Your Mother was a lovely lady and always made me feel better when I went into CVS or K T Pebbles. She never lacked for humor and a happy spirit. That cannot be said about everybody. May God bless you and your entire family as you travel through the hard days ahead. Linda, Bucky, and all you kids, I'm so sorry for your loss. Sandra was a beautiful person. I remember, Linda, when you, Sandra, and I worked together at Ed Perry's; so long ago, and we had so much fun. Those were good years. I'll always remember Sandra fondly.
