Jobby J. Lewis, 91, of 245 Lewis Road died June 25, 2012. He was son of the late Joe and Fannie Belle Easler Lewis and husband of Willie Mae Tyler Lewis.
He was a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church and was a farmer. He served in the US Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 45.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Alvin Lewis (Tammy) of Campobello and Calvin Lewis (Martha) of Lowndesville, SC; four brothers, Milon, Frances, and Mack Lewis all of Campobello, Howard Lewis of Spartanburg; two sisters, Fannie Belle Ayers of Landrum and Betty Tyler of Gramling; three grandchildren, Shelly Lowe (Chris), Robert Lewis (Tina) and Richard Lewis; and four great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Walnut Hill Baptist Church. Funeral services will follow at the church at 2:00pm conducted by Rev. Todd Johnson, Rev. Gary Hensley, and Rev. Dean Cortese. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
