Carolyn, Roger, Kevin and family, please accept our heartfelt sympathy. Jack and I have known Vance for several years because of his love of cars and our shared common interest in Ford Mustangs. We share your loss as he was such a lovable young man and always had a smile anytime and anywhere we would see him. You can be proud of him and know that he loved his hobby and those who shared that interest with him had their lives touched by him. May he rest in the arms of the Lord and may you feel those arms wrapped around you as you go forward with those precious memories.

Vance was a great guy. I only knew him briefly, but came to know him well in that time. He helped where he could, when he could, how he could. He was a friend to all.
May the peace of the living God in Christ Jesus fill his family's hearts and comfort them by His Holy Spirit. May He give His angels charge over them, to keep them and watch over them in their time of grief and distress.

Carolyn and Garry, and all my Holbert family. We will always love you. I found Vance's obit when I was getting them ready for broadcast.

We feel your pain. Our shoulders will always be there, and so will our ears. When you feel like talking, please call me.

Carolyn, remember you're not standing there alone. I'm with you. Remember his sweet fadce, and his eyes. Right now, it's hard not to dwell on the pain, but try to remember all the good things about Vance. I remember David's hands.

God's Grace be with all of you,
Roy, Diana, Becca & Phillip

While I know we are late in knowing this, anyone who knew Vance knew he was a great guy. I know he loved this club or otherwise they wouldn't have mentioned it in the obituaries. He came to our drag days, autofair, and meets and was a very pleasant member to know. He was always helpful and offered a helping hand without any expectations for something in return. He was a Cobra Club brother, one who worked hard at his job but still came to see everyone even though he worked all night.

What can I say? I am in total shock!!! He was too young to be taken away from this world and didn't get a chance to live a long life. He will be missed and did I mention that I am still in shock??? Sometimes you never know what the future holds for you so live your life to the fullest and be glad that you have another day to enjoy what God has provided for you.

I know that Vance is in a better place than this earth but I will still miss him. I just can't believe that he is gone and I give my condolences to his family and friends. He was a true SCMC member, one that loved his Cobras and his friends.

God Bless You Vance, I hope you will take the time to look down on us from heaven and smile and know we will be thinking about you and we will miss you.

I did not have the pleasure of meeting Vance. I am a member of the SVT Cobra Club and love my Cobra as did Vance. My deepest sympathy goes out to all his friends and especially his closest family and friends who knew him the best. I do know the loss you suffer as I too lost my son (at age 22) in a motorcycle accident. My prayers are with you knowing God will indeed give you comfort and strength to carry this burden as He did me. I am truly sorry.

Vance was a great person and I'm shocked to find out about his passing. Vance is the one who originally got me into the scmc and I considered Vance a good friend even though the last couple years we had lost touch. I'm very sorry for your loss. Vance was too good of a person to pass so young. God bless you all.
