Thomas B. Jones

 Thomas B. Jones, 93, of Landrum passed away February 13, 2017 at his home.  He was the son to the late Adolphus Andrew and Ethel Alma Swain Jones and husband of the late Willie Jean Emery Jones.

He served in the US Navy, retired from Bigelow, a member of First Baptist Church of Landrum, a member of Landrum Masonic Lodge #278, Southern Appalachian Cloggers and an avid Golfer.

He was survived by two sons, Wayne Jones, Danny Jones(Jane) both of Landrum; five grandchildren, Brian Jones(Jennifer), Angie Upton(Carey), Cindi Tezza(John), Tracey West(Lee) and Scott Jones; and nine great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by five brothers, Shreve, James, Dean, Bill and Lewis Jones; two sisters, Mary Jones Parris and Nelda JonesThompson.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral service will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Jimmy Camp and Rev. Mark Bishop.  Burial will follow in Springhill Memorial Gardens in Chesnee.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Landrum, 300 East Rutherford Road, Landrum, SC  29356.
