Steve Wayne Coley, 71, of Inman, SC passed away December 31, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family, Cindy, Matt and Brett who so lovingly cared for Steve during his battle with cancer.
Steve was born July 26, 1943, son of the late Harold W. and Margaret High Coley. He was a retired coach and teacher from Landrum High School and East Rutherford High School. He was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church.
He is survived by his family, Cindy, Matt and Brett of the home in Inman, SC; a special grandson, Andrew Coley and his mother Pam Newman of Boiling Springs; two sisters, Susan Coley Henderson and her daughter, Elizabeth Lawter of Inman; Beth Coley Gosnell (Henry) and son Brian of Campobello, SC; and niece Stephanie Miller. He was predeceased by a brother, Wade Coley.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00pm Saturday, January 3, 2015 at Landrum First Baptist Church. Service will follow the visitation at the church at 3:00. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
