Robert Earle Stephens

Robert Earle Stephens, 66, of Lyman passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on September 5, 2017.  He was the son of Lillie Kirkland Henderson and the late Robert George Hiram Stephens.

He attended Bethel Baptist Church and worked at Siemens Energy and Automation for over 40 years.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce Forrester Stephens; his mother, Lillie Kirkland Henderson;  a son, Robert Bryan Stephens (Laura); a step son, Barry Pruitt; a step daughter, Amanda Pruitt Pearson (Larramie); a sister, Linda Stephens Solesbee (Rick); eight grandchildren, Megan Stephens, Madison Stephens, Heather Keenan (Chris), Jennifer Pruitt, Ashley Pruitt, Molly Shafer, Cayden Shafer and Montana Provo; three great grandchildren, Rylie Wofford, Alaina Sizemore and Ethan Honorato; and a nephew Eric Rodgers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00pm Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Petty Funeral Home.  A memorial service will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel conducted by Dr. Henry Johnson and Minister Michael Grooms.
