Millard F. Wofford

Millard Fillmore Wofford, 85, of Landrum went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2018.  He was husband to Jeanette Solesbee Wofford for 62 years.  He was born January 7, 1933 to the late Isom and Anna Lee Pierce Wofford.

He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Wofford; two sons, Phillip Wofford (Wanda) and Gary Wofford (Kim) ; grandchildren, Kansas Sealey (Josh), Meghan Upton (Calem), Ethan Wofford (Ciera) and Gus Wofford (Taylor);  and two great grandchildren Kyson and Kohen Upton all of Landrum; He is also survived by two sisters, Edith Allison of Travelers Rest and Geneva DePasquale of Baltimore, MD.

He was predeceased by one sister Elma Plumley and two brothers James Wofford and Herman Wofford.

He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church.  He was an avid builder and gardener.  He loved his family and was always involved in projects with his sons and grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Monday, February 5, 2018 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday February 6, 2018 at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Ronald Jones and Rev. Tim Wofford.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
