Marie Suddeth Atkins

Marie S. Atkins, 78, of Campobello passed away August 19, 2016 at Lake Emory Post Acute Care.  She was the daughter of the late James Earl and Myrtle Smith Suddeth and wife of the late Malcolm "Mack" Atkins.

She was a textile worker at J Barbe and a member of Holston Creek Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Marty Atkins of Oklahoma; a daughter, Maxine Penfield of Campobello; two sisters, Aileen Kimmons and Betty Geddis; three grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.  In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son, Mickey Atkins, a brother, John Earl Suddeth and two grandsons.

The family will receive friends, 6:00-8:00pm Monday, August 22, 2016 at Petty Funeral Home.  Graveside service will be 11:00am Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Good Shepherd Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Joe Geddis.
