Kathryn (Case) Greene

Kathryn Case Greene, 85, of Columbus passed away November 24, 2016 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.  She was the daughter of the late Virgil and Helen Parton Case and the wife of the late Roy Greene Sr.

She was the owner and operator of Kathryn's Beauty Shop and a member of Columbus Baptist Church.

Kathryn was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Marion "Buck", Ruth, Charles, Myrtle, Roy and Joyce.

She was survived by a son, Roy Greene, Jr. (Joyce) of Landrum; three daughters, Olivia "Sissy" Clontz (Jerry) of Monroe, NC, Teresa Greene and Tena Greene-Porter (Steve) both of Columbus, NC; two sisters, Doris Stott and Faith Ross both of Columbus; five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 3:00pm at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Phil Hurst.  Burial will be in Landrum Cemetery.
