Jesse William McCraw

Jesse McCraw, 79, of Campobello passed away on December 1, 2016.  He was the son of the late Buford and Jeanette Newman McCraw and husband of the late Jeannette McCraw.

He worked in textiles and as a service station attendent.  He was a farmer his whole life.

He is survived by his children, Billy W. McCraw (Stacey), Ann Turner (Larry), Nancy James (Dennis Jolley) , Lynn Plumley (Johnnie), Martha Strube (Roger) and Gary W. McCraw (Kim); three brothers, Aleck McCraw, Luther McCraw and Lee McCraw; five sisters, Ruth Massey, Ethel Blanton, Bessie Cooper, Essie Downey and Eunice Gosnell; 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a brother, Jack McCraw and a daughter, Brenda Kay McCraw.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00pm Friday, December 2, 2016 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, December 3, 2016  at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. John Williams.  Burial will be in Jackson Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery.
