James R. Waldrop

James R. Waldrop, 68, of Campobello passed away on August 7, 2015.  He was the son of the late Woodrow and Nell Skinner Waldrop and husband of Sandra Wright Waldrop.

He was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church and was retired from Bommer Hinge.  He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Waldrop; a son, James Neal Waldrop (Regina); two brothers, Samuel Waldrop (Barbara), Philip Waldrop; a sister, Linda Williams (Hugh);  two grandsons, Ethan James Waldrop and James Tucker Lawson, and several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by a sister, Sarah Waldrop.

The family will receive friends from 3:00-5:00pm Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Monday, August 10, 2015 at Petty Funeral Chapel conducted by Rev. Shane Ezell, Ethan Waldrop and Rev. Paul Edwards.  Burial will be in Motlow Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
