James Royal Clanton, 68, of Columbus passed away July 19, 2016. He was son of the lateJohn William and Maude Elizabeth Treadway Clanton.
He was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church and worked at Polk County Sheltered Workshop.
He is survived by a sister, Viney Elder of Columbus; two brothers, Escar Clanton of Taylorsville, NC and Steve Clanton of Wilkesboro, NC.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am Friday, July 22, 2016 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Brian Wilson.
