Horace Lee Fitch

Horace Lee Fitch, 77, of Landrum passed away on December 25, 2017.  He was the husband of Martha Blackwell Fitch and the son of the late Herbert Thomas and Christine Pruitt Fitch.

Horace is survived by his wife of 36 years, Martha; two daughters, Laura Reid (Eric) and Cindy Painter; six grandchildren, Jonathan Adkins, Caleb Painter (Alicia), Maranda Willoughby (Jacob), Megan Painter, Samantha Reid and Ashton Reid; six great grandchildren; a brother, Herbert "Jr." Fitch; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death, in addition to his parents, by seven siblings and a beloved pet named Ginger.

Horace will be remembered most for his humor, generosity and for being a kind and loving man who deeply loved his family.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Petty Funeral Home.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
