Genelle Faulkner

Genelle Pierce Turner Faulkner, 77, of Wellford passed away on August 6, 2016.  She was the daughter of the late Floyd and Pearl Ida Pruitt Pierce and widow of Jack Faulkner.  She was first married to the late Rex Turner.

She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and attended Calvary Baptist Church.  She was a homemaker.

She is survived by three daughters, Debra Turner Williams, Sophia Turner Arledge and Theresa Turner Shelhoft; two brothers, Ray Pierce and Floyd Allen Pierce; a sister, Audrey Clayton; six granddaughters, 2 grandsons, 8 great granddaughters and 8 great grandsons; and was expecting a great grandson and a great granddaughter.

The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00am Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will be follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Tim Wofford and Rev. Tommy Twitty.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
