Evelyn (Painter) Pittman

Evelyn Painter Pittman, 89, of Green Creek passed away January 3, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Hospital.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Giva Hudson Painter and wife of the late Homer R. Pittman.

She was a member of Peniel Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by a son, Dean Pittman (Sandra); a daughter, Carolyn Searcy; two brothers, Charles Painter, Paul Painter; a sister, Donnie Belle Jolley; two grandchildren, Chris Pittman (Shanna), Angela Gosnell (Bryan); five great grandchildren, Alex Pittman, Maddie Pittman, Lacey Gosnell, Lily Gosnell, Colt Pittman and a great great granddaughter, Adaline Pittman. 

She was predeceased by a sister, Geneva Edwards.

The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00pm Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Peniel Baptist Church.  Graveside services will follow at 2:00pm in the church cemetery conducted by Rev. Steve Price.
