Earline Ballenger

Earline Pruitt Ballenger, 84, of Inman passed away on May 13, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Belton and Elvie Evington Pruitt.

She was a member of Inman Baptist Church.  She retired from Jackson Mills after working over 40 years.  She then went on to work at White Oak Estates and Ashland Village as a Med-Tech.

She is survived by her husband, Vernon Ballenger; a daughter Gloria Ballenger and her fiance' Don Price of Inman; a granddaughter, Chelsea Ballenger;  three sisters, Dorothy High, Mildred Page and Doris Eubanks all of Inman; and a special great nephew Matthew Bell.

She was predeceased by three brothers, James, Lloyd and Raymond Pruitt and a sister, Marcelle West.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00pm Monday, May 16, 2016 at Walnut Hill Baptist Church.  A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm at the church conducted by Rev. Scott Lewellen, Rev. Odell Moseley and Rev. Dave Boyter.

Memorials may be made to SC Hospice and Palliative Care, 351 E. Blackstock Road, Spartanburg, SC  29301.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of SC Hospice and Palliative Care especially, Teresa, Mary, Sandy and Chaplain Dave Boyter.

The family is at the home, 301 Inman Road, Inman.
