Doris Pruitt Pace

Doris Pruitt Pace, 74, of Mill Spring, NC passed away on November 12, 2015.  She was the daughter of the late Joseph B. and Nannie Belle Loftis Pruitt and wife of Forest Lee "Bud" Pace.

She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was a private duty nurse.

She is survived by her husband, Bud Pace; four daughters, Kathy Harris (Steve), Sharon Nicholson (Roger), Deborah Hutchins (John) and Donna Langley (Geno); three step children, Forest Lee Pace, Jr., Barbara Thompson and Wendell Pace; eight grandchildren Dana, Kelly, Jamie, Jeffrey, Jared, Marvin, Morgan and Keith; nine great grandchildren, Issabelle, Makayla, Gwen, Sarah, Bryson, Gracie, David, Wriley and Jaxson; three step grandchildren Lee, Michael, and Josh; and a sister, Carolyn Green.

She was predeceased by a brother, Harold Pruitt.

The family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00pm Saturday at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church conducted by Dr. John Fortner.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.
