D.L. Revan

D.L. "Monk" Revan, 91 of Spartanburg passed away on December 18, 2017.  He was the son of the late Albert Lawson Revan, Sr. and Minnie Wofford Revan.  He was the husband of Betty Lou Barton Revan.

He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and Landrum Masonic Lodge #278.  He retired from Hoechst Fibers and served in the US Army during WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Lou Revan; two sons, David Revan of Pauline and Rick Revan of Chesnee; six grandchildren, Lawson Revan (Alli), Ali Revan (Jason Fant), Jimmy Revan (Ashton), Josh Revan, Virginia Crouse (Andrew) and Ella Brittingham; and two great grandchildren, Vera and Claire Crouse.

The family will receive friends from 11:00am-12:00pm Friday, December 22, 2017, at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Chuck Mullinax.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or to one's favorite charity.
