Charleen Raines Cartee, 79, of Campobello passed away July 14, 2015.  She was the daughter of the late Richard Charles and Bonnie Stiles Raines.  She was the wife of C.L. Cartee for 63 years.   She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church and was retired from District 1 Schools.  She graduated from Chapman High School in 1974.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Richard Cartee and wife Gail of Campobello, Carl Cartee and wife JoRetta of Inman; two brothers, Ray Raines and wife Vivian of Spartanburg, SC and Doug Raines and wife Shirley of Acworth, GA; six grandchildren, Heath Cartee (Jenny), Landon Cartee (Brittany), Autumn Whittle (Doug), Joey Cartee (Tabatha), Justin Cartee and Caitlin Lovett (Michael); and seven great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Bonnie Diane Cartee; a sister, Naomi Bailey and two brothers, J.T. and Dennis Raines.

The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00pm Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Petty Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, July 17, 2015 at Parkway Baptist Church conducted by Rev. John Smith and Rev. Tommy Turner.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the nurses of 6th Floor North at SRMC and to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills for the care of Mrs. Cartee.
