Cecil Turner

Carroll "Cecil" Turner, 80, of Tryon passed away on May 23, 2016.  He was the son of the late Albert and Dorothy Burrell Turner and husband of Tracy Campbell Turner.

He was a Golf Professional at Tryon Country Club for 43 years.

He is survived by his wife, Tracy Campbell Turner; two daughters, Cindy Few and husband Dale of Landrum and Pam Perry and husband Tony of Greenville; three grandchildren, Benji McCall and wife Amanda, Tracyann Hughes and husband Clint and Emilee Hardin; four great grandchildren, Abigail McCall, Kaitlyn McCall, Hunter Hughes and Hailee Hughes; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Kenny and Elizabeth Morgan and Tommy and Sharon Burrell.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm Thursday, May 26, 2016 at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel conducted by Chaplain Justin Nelson.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, 130 Forest Glen Drive, Columbus, NC  28722.
